My Cash in a Flash Review
Cash in a Flash Review
Cash in a Flash is an inspiration
I've written about my struggles to make money online before. Well, I've known since 2007 that I wanted to make money using online sources like Hubpages, but for some reason things haven't come together for me.
As it turns out, I am not the type of person who can successfully write things just to make money nor am I the type of person who responds well to "to-do list" style how-to books. I like to think about why I have the goals that I do and approach my business with a sense of passion.
In other words, I believe in the saying, "Do what you love and the money will follow."
I believe that the authors of Cash in a Flash, Robert G. Allen and Mark Victor Hansen (of Chicken Soup for the Soul fame) feel the same way which is why I am such a big fan of their books and resources.
Building a Solid Business is Easier than I Think...
Things I Learned from Cash in a Flash
I thought I'd give a little summary of things I learned from Cash in a Flash.
- Positive mindset. Unless you have the right mindset, you won't successfully make money.
- Do what you love. When making money it is important to follow your passions and do what you love or else you won't be able to sustain your business.
- Problems into profits. Turn your problems into things that can make you money. This is a common strategy when it comes to making money online, by the way. I'll explain that later.
- Visualize success. Remember in Waterboy when Coach Kline said we need to visualize the attack? Well, this is kind of the same thing - only we are visualizing our success! Much of the book focuses on this idea.

Turning Problems into a Business - Online Strategy
I once read an eBook on how to make money online. I only created one Squidoo Lens using the strategy outlined and it consistently makes me money each month on an inexpensive but very popular product I talk about: the Tibetan Almond Stick. The lens is called "How to Fix Hardwood Floor Scratches".
It came about because I had just dealt with taking out a gigantic scratch in our hardwood floor to get it ready for the landlord to inspect it. The problem was the scratch, the solution is the Tibetan Almond Stick. It's an amazing product because the scratch disappears AND it's cheap. It costs just a few dollars, and I make a $3-$5 dollars per month on Amazon commissions just from that one little thing.
Make a list of all the problems you are having. Think of a solution that involves a product. The way I make the web pages is to not only offer the product as a solution, but I also give valuable tips and advice. I tell people all the options, and a good number of them buy either the stick thingy or some of the repair kits I list.
As an experiment, create 10 hubs in this way and see what happens!
Opinions on Making Quick Cash
Do you think it is possible to make "Cash in a Flash" as the book suggests?
Cash in a Flash: The Verdict
I read the book (twice actually) and have officially started my Cash in a Flash 90 day journey ... well I forget but let's just see I started it on June 5, 2011. That is my official start date. My main income bringer at the moment is Hubpages (or I hope it will be) and I set a goal to make 10,000 hubs or $10,000 on hubpages, whichever comes first.
